Supersport United Fc collaborates with TUT in creating a new women's team.

SuperSport United confirmed on the 25^th of July 2023, that they have partnered with the University of Technology in creating a women's team. The women's team has officially been named Matsatsantsa Ladies FC, as stated by Supersport and the University of Technology.

Which league will they play in? Matsatsantsa Ladies FC will be participating in the 2023–24 season of the Dstv Diski Challenge (DDC) as their home ground will be based at the university, which is where the matches will take place.

Growth in the women's division: The collaboration between Supersport United and the University of Technology, better known as TUT," shows an enormous amount of growth in women's football, as this will enhance more opportunities for women to showcase their potential on the big stages. Prior to the partnership between Supersport United and TUT, the ladies' team had achieved a number of accolades. They have been varsity football champions for six consecutive years, from 2014 to 2019, and have won the National Institutional Championships. They were currently playing in Hollywood's Super League (National Women's League) and are currently in 10th position for the 2022–2023 season, according to Diski Zone.

The University of Technology ladies' team is definitely one to keep an eye on during the 2023–2024 DDC season.
